Dear Members,

Today Southern Lakes Credit Union was informed that an employee tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. This employee followed Healthy at Work guidelines.

However, out of an abundance of caution, our 80th Street branch will be closed until further notice.

The drive up located at 5001 60th Street, Kenosha is still open. Online and Mobile banking will also continue to be available for your convenience. Please refer to our website or social media pages for updates on this situation.

COVID-19 Virus Update – (12/09/2020)

Dear Members,

We are excited to report that effective today, we have reopened the doors to our lobby at our Kenosha 80th Street branch location. We do so in adherence to the guidelines set forth by our public health officials and the CDC. We want to proceed with caution, so we once again ask that you continue to practice safe and healthy illness prevention methods inside our facilities.

To ensure safety, we ask all staff & members to:

Wear a mask – Facemasks are mandatory per city ordinance, please use a face covering while in our facilities to reduce the chances of spreading the virus.

Avoid close contact – Please maintain social distance in our facilities by allowing 6 feet of space between yourself and others.

Maintain personal space – Keep extra space between yourself and others in line.

Stay home when ill – Please stay home if you are feeling ill and use our many remote banking options instead.

Cover coughs & sneezes – Remember to always cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow. Throw used tissues in the trash and wash your hands.

Clean hands often – Wash your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer, especially after touching frequently used items or surfaces.

Clean & disinfect – We will continue to follow proper cleaning protocol of our facilities, ATMs, electronics, and soft surfaces.

COVID-19 VIRUS UPDATE – (7/13/2020)

Dear Credit Union Members,

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we have taken precautions to keep our members, employees, and community safe during these difficult times. Our hours remained unchanged during the pandemic as we strove to successfully serve your financial needs by phone, appointment, electronically, and at our drive-ups.

We are happy to announce that soon we will be opening our doors again. Beginning Wednesday, July 15 our 60th Street, 80th Street, and Elkhorn branches will be welcoming you back inside our lobbies. Our lobby hours are; 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Thursday, 9am to 6 pm Friday, and 9 am to 12 pm Saturday.

In the meantime, our drive-ups remain open at all branches to take care of your financial needs by connecting you directly to a SoLakes Credit Union representative. Drive-up service hours are; 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 6 pm Friday, and 8:30 to 12 pm Saturday.

Remember, your closest SoLakes branch is your electronic device. As a member of Southern Lakes Credit Union, you have a full range of electronic services available through SoLakes Online 24/7 Banking. This access includes online bill pay, transferring funds between accounts, applying for a loan, making loan payments, verifying account balances, viewing monthly account statements, reordering checks, and more.

You will notice a few changes as we continue to take precautions to keep you and our employees safe.

Members/Guests entering the lobby will be permitted to utilize face coverings. Members/Guests who choose to wear a face covering into the lobbies will be asked to remove any hats, hoods, and sunglasses to allow easy identification. Hand sanitizer will also be available for use.

We will practice social distancing wherever possible. There will be safety dividers and lobby furniture has been removed for everyone’s protection.

Public restrooms will be temporarily closed. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

COVID-19 Virus Update – (5/14/2020)

Dear Members,

Yesterday Wisconsin’s Supreme Court overturned the state’s “Safer At Home” orders and mandated that all future statewide restrictions to battle the coronavirus must be approved by the legislature’s rule-making committee before they can be implemented.

Southern Lakes Credit Union is continually monitoring COVID-19 developments from both state and local government. Local officials can put their own limits in place, and rules can vary significantly from one community to the next.

Please know that nothing is more important to us than making sure that we protect the health and safety of our employees and members. We will set and announce an open date to resume lobby service just as soon as we have all the proper safety precautions in place to do so. Drive-up and lobby services by appointment will continue until that time.

With the ongoing concern about the COVID-19 virus, I want to thank you for your understanding. In order to protect the public health, the safety of you our members, and the safety of the Credit Union team, the decision has been made to limit in person services to only the drive up service offered at each of our locations. Services via our lobbies will be discontinued at 1 pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 until public health officials indicate that the risk associated with in person contact has diminished.

As a member of Southern Lakes Credit Union, you have a full range of electronic services available through SoLakes Online 24/7 Banking. Through this you have access to all of your accounts without needing to visit a branch. This access includes online bill pay, transferring funds between accounts, applying for a loan, making loan payments, verifying account balances, viewing monthly account statements, reordering checks, and more.

Additionally you have convenient access to your money through our network of ATMs. As a member of Southern Lakes Credit Union you have ATM’s access at all of our locations.
