Hello Members of Southern Lakes Credit Union,
This year has been full of unexpected twists and turns. Through all of these challenges your Credit Union team has worked hard to do all we can to offer you uninterrupted service. A specific area of service focus for us this year has been to provide loan payment assistance for members when possible. These assistance efforts have allowed your Credit Union to help over 100 members during these tough times. If you are struggling with your loan here at the Credit Union please reach out to a loan officer to see what options may be available to provide some relief. All situations are unique so we look for different ways to help.
We have made efforts this year to maintain the physical condition of your Credit Union locations. Multiple projects have been put into motion to achieve this goal. At the Elkhorn location finishing landscaping touches related to the repaving of the drive thru were completed. We are excited to see the spring blooms that will come from the fresh landscaping. At the 60th St location the drive thru exit slip was repaved. We appreciate your patience as this work was completed. At the 80th St location the ATM is in the process of being replaced. The ATM was damaged beyond repair by vandals who took advantage of the unrest that occurred during the protests in Kenosha earlier this fall. Vendor delays caused by the current state of the world have extended the time to obtain the replacement ATM. We expect the new ATM to arrive in the near future. Thank you for your understanding as we work on the installation of the replacement ATM.
Your Credit Union has not been immune to the effects of the COVID-19 virus. Recently we had to suspend member service at our 80th St location for the health and safety of our members and team. Full service has resumed. Our Marketing team makes continuous efforts to provide information to you our members through all of our electronic channels. Please follow us on social media @solakescu on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Following us on social media will help you stay up to date with valuable information about what is happening at your Credit Union. As the holidays that end 2020 are upon us I hope that the end of your year is blessed with safety and health.
In Service,
Tim Barthel
